health care reform: what's your next move?

Updated 2/23/2010

President Obama today released for the first time, a proposal for overhauling health care. For the most part, the proposal retains much of what the Senate passed in December 2009, but makes concessions to the House version. It is hoped that this measure will kick-start the stalled legislation. The proposal would provide more money for states without sufficient cash in their budgets for Medicaid funding. The proposal does not contain any provision for a “public option.”

We will continue to analyze the positions taken and provide insights and planning tools that assist employers in informed decision-making. Stay tuned.
